They are of course not merely my opinions but those of numerous
Israelis and American diplomats.

I wonder how many of those militants are now in Israeli custody?

The bottom line is that when a peace deal is signed, these
militants will have to be dealt with. The free hand they currently
have under Arafat will be gone...

I think the Israeli government has made some mistakes, the
Palestinians nothing but mistakes, but it was the American
administration I was refering to.

We are attempting to hold the Israelis to a different standard on
dealing with terrorists than the one we practice.

This is wrong.
