The April 2002 issue of Motorcyclist has an article on champion
motorcycle racer Michelle Duff, who went thru gender reassignment
at age 46. I was twice astounded: first that they should carry the
article at all in that particular macho magazine, and second that they
should do such a good job of it. They really have you seeing life
thru the eyes of a transgender by the end of it. spike
