Question diet experts: a lot of diets talk about the value of not
decreasing the
metabolism rate, as if that is a good thing. But all else being equal
and assuming
weight is not an issue, would not a lower metabolism lead to a longer
life? How
does that work? Is cell reproduction rate proportional to metabolism?
 If so
would not one want to decrease metabolism as much as possible? spike
