I tried it and it returned lots of results with xenu.net :

I figured they might mean, "without using the site directive", so I
fed back a phrase of one of those pages to Google and I got the page
again :

<http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&q=%22The+theme+can+clearly+be+read+in+the+lines+about+being%22&btnG=Google+Search
