I'm going to share a true related story.

A year or so ago, the anti-gun crowd here in Chicago staged a
little stunt.

They dressed police officers up as gang members and sent them off
to suburban gun stores to buy guns, at which they were successful.
When they were successful, the liberal press moaned about it for
weeks.

Problems with this little scenario?

1) They had to go to suburban stores because there are no gun
stores in Chicago, handguns have been completely illegal in Chicago
for twenty years.

2) To buy a gun in Illinois requires a license, besides a valid
FOID card you of course have to pass the INSTA-CHECK system. So no
matter how these people were dressed, they were valid purchasers
under the law.

In effect what the liberal press was moaning about was that the gun
stores did not engage in illegal racial profiling.

The liberals of course completely missed this.
