What about those bacteria used to produce electricity from mud reported
in Nature a while back? And while we are still at it, Pseudomonas
stutzeri AG259 (which grows regular silver crystals) might be useful.

Another useful genome would be the mosquito genome, since it is a highly
relevant disease vector. But that may not be DOE's table.
