Exactly, and the fact is that we see almost every day incidents where
individuals do manage to get on board aircraft with supposedly 'banned'
items. The only two real options are to make everyone fly naked or else
allow anyone to be armed.
Right now, the FAA is staging a coverup of one aspect of the 9/11
incident: it seems one of the hijackers of flight 11 was armed with a
firearm and shot a passenger. A flight attendant reported the shooting
to air traffic controllers, and this is all documented in memos and
flight tapes, which are now all being suppressed by the FAA, which now
claims there was no gun and no shooting on board flight 11. Oddly
enough, the FAA is at the same time opposing a bill in congress that
would allow pilots to fly with firearms. Gee, I wonder if there is a
connection...
