Francis Fukuyama has an original essay in the current (March/April 2002)
issue of Foreign Policy magazine. The main essay is also available at

The piece is based on (but not lifted from) his new book, "Our Posthuman
Future," mentioned in Natasha's email.
The print edition of the magazine has an additional short essay by FF,
and, IMO, is a particularly good issue of a consistently good magazine.
