Ah, well, I guess I won't be seeing it ever, either. I just *knew* it was
going to be like that when I learned that "A.I" had something to do with
some damned kid! What the hell does A.I. have to do with making an
artificial kid and then teaching him to "love"? Oh, sure, AI can include
"artificial consciousness" or "artificial life" or even "artificial
emotions" (see Brent Spiner on ST:TNG), but why the hell do we need
artificial KIDS? Don't we have enough of the REAL kind? What a contrived
story. Spielberg and kids - I never saw Schindler's List but I suppose he
has kid nazis in that one, too - :-}
