I dare say these are the same scholars who derive much of their wisdom from
the golden plates delivered by an angel. I would give their views about as
much credence as I'd place in the views that scientologists espouse
concerning the veracity of Elron's lucrative fantasies.

Pullman's recent `children's' trilogy HIS DARK MATERIALS, starting with THE
GOLDEN COMPASS--all the book-burning idiots bleating about awful Harry
Potter and his evil witches obviously haven't found the good stuff yet...]
