Heh. When the railroad (Southern Pacific, I think) was in the habit of
parking idling locomotives upwind of my house last year, I came close to
attacking one with a CO2 extinguisher to shut the damn thing down.
Complaints to management solved the problem before it came to that,
though. I think it would take a very high CO2 flow rate, aimed directly
into the engine intake. The destructive and dangerous version of this
involves a tank of propane...
