Actually the original experiment was done at Oak Ridge as well. If there
really was a conspiracy like this then presumably they would not have
allowed their researchers to pursue this activity. It was only after the
failure to replicate the results, using more sensitive neutron detection
equipment, that Oak Ridge tried to get Science to delay publication.
