Even so, Im betting against it. I can't imagine how sound waves could
get the
kinds of pressures required to make fusion happen, under any circumstances.
In theory, I dont understand how the motion of electrons can span the 5
orders
of magnitude required to interact in any way with nucleons.
Doing some literature searching on one of Robert Bradbury's ideas, I ran
across a pre-cold-fusion paper by Pons and Fleischmann. They really
are *real* scientists, which demonstrates how even competent people
can fool themselves into thinking theyve seen cold fusion. spike
