They speak about a precedent, a person in the Island of Reunion
(French) who was forbidden to keep his mother in his refrigerator (I
think that was not in a cryonicist perspective, he just wanted to keep
the body around). The law says the body must be cremated or burried.
I wonder what is the rationale behind the law. Probably to ensure that
a "decent" (and socially hygienic) treatment is given to the dead,
even when relatives wouldn't care about it or would not have financial
means to do something.
If this is so, then cryo-suspension should be accomodated, as it is
obviously more than "decent", compared to incineration or burrial.
