Damn skippy. My email client has a de-HTML-ize button which strips out the
HTML and creates sane ASCII email. The nice thing is that when I sanitize a
reply to an HTML email, the opposing client generally keeps it plaintext.
I've had mail clients with full support for HTML for years, but I've never
understood the value of it; half the time the result is ass ugly and looks
worse than terminal font. Of course, it still remains to be determined if
this is because some senders have bad taste in formatting or whether these
things are sometimes rendered in ugly mode by broken HTML display code.
