I'm sure Anders Sandberg, Robert Bradbury and numerous others on the list could have a field day with the final question, here! lol I think anyone who has intensely followed the list for the last several years would see good reason for humanity making it. C'mon J.R., SMILE!! :)

I do wonder if Spike has any insider information... Considering how he opens up his home to visitors during the extro conferences, I could see some grateful time traveler revealing him/herself to him, and than letting Spike know things will work out alright in the future!

Yes, time travelers would be able to afford a nice hotel room easier then most, but they still would not find the hospitality available at Spike's home!
