You can pay with Deutsche Mark (DM) until February 28th in about 95 % of the
stores, change DM into Euro in every bank until February 28th and even after
that date they will change your DM in the Landeszentralbanken.
There is no need to worry, that your DM-notes get worthless.
But as you mentioned yesterday, I will also keep two 10 DM-notes, because
the man on the notes, Carl Friedrich Gauss, was born only two blocks away
from
where I live.
