This is probably so, but the problem is to keep a nice aquarium
from becoming fish soup, given the world as it is. Culture wars
of attrition.

Until the immigrants are libertarians, there are potential entropic
problems. There is tension here, perhaps best solved (minimax) with
"You are free to leave, if you can find someone who'll have you."
Borders as diodes.

"Language, borders, culture" is one cry. I think these do matter,
but rather dislike some of the people who mouth the phrase.
