I'm afraid that this is a real concern. I myself worry about how it might
negatively impact my business to be associated with this weird stuff. Not
that there is anything negative in it, but people fear the unknown.

I agree with this. We focus too much on technology for its own sake.
Technology will produce the tools to do great things in the future. But
these tools must be a means to an end, and not the reverse.
