If, Damien, I had thought we were discussing "one way to enhance health broadly in the community, and the varieties of ways to fund that," I would not have thought us off-topic. As it was, I found myself explaining pretty basic principles of institutional economics--so basic that I didn't think discussing them would prove very helpful in advancing extropian thought. But, then again, that I felt compelled to explain them says something, I suppose.

At any rate, I think you care too much what I think if you feel compelled to seek a "ruling" about my opinion. That game is not worth the candle, as my opinion carries no official weight. So, in my unofficial opinion, I think you should chill out.
