What *do* you remember reading in your physics books? Alien species?
Or were they comic books?
I remember plenty, but I do not remember anything saying 'We shall not ever
contact alien species' What laws are you referring to anyhow? Are you
saying that extra-terrestrial intelligence is unlikely, or rare, or that
interstellar travel is unlikely, or that we are the only technological
advanced intelligent to have ever, and to ever, evolve.
