Science Show (on Aussie national radio) today interviewed one Dr Andy
Miller of Imperial College, London, who's working on the proteome. He is
building a modified adeno virus with a lipid rather than (potentially
toxic) protein coat to transport genes into nuclei. They have an antisense
inhibitor to certain cytokine-mediated inflammation, relevant to
Alzheimers. All sounds very cool.
