Curious, If I could put 1960s Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco, into
a bottle, I would, and give it to you as a Christmas present. :-)
My reference to 'cortex' was very loose, and imprecise, because I'm
not a neurobiologist. I was refering only to personality types, so
this is more about psychology.
Many different 'systems' for typing personalities exist. Myers-Briggs
is one typing system. Enneagram is another. I was using the Enneagram,
in my description of the "Artist". The "Artist's are usually much
more in tune with the "suffering" elements of things. This type is
simply one of the nine Enneagram personality types, and personalities
are imprinted somewhere(s?) in the brain (emergent properties of?)
but I have no idea beyond about the physical component. We are in
the realm of psychology mostly. I'll defer your questions to the
neurobiologists.
