Who gives a damn, that was 50 years ago. It's unrealistic to expect everybody to
love us, but it's not unreasonable to ask that they not kill us.

I know you're trying to be sarcastic and there's nothing wrong with that, I've been
known to do it myself from time to time, but what you say is not completely untrue.
"Freedom" is only part of it but there is something about the secular materialistic scientific
western culture that has induced a sort of cultural hysteria in Islamic nations. I certainly
don't think the hate can be totally laid at the feet of the Palestinian problem, most Afghanis
have never seen a Palestinian, nor do I think the root cause is the fate of an obscure
Prime Minister of Iran that few in any country could name today, there is something much
deeper going on.

Ok, it's time to confess my motivation, to tell the truth I really don't give a hoot in hell why
these religious fanatics do what they do, all that interests me is that they want to kill me.
Maybe I'm crazy but I think it just might be wise if we try to do something to stop them.
