I agree that it's all semantics. Plastic surgery, for the most part,
doesn't treat diseases. (Or does it?) Does the FDA approve of its
techniques?
BTW, the Life Extension Foundation does a pretty decent job of taking the
FDA to court and winning. See, e.g., its FDA archives at
http://www.lef.org/fda/fda-archives.html I think this is a cause worth
funding.
