What happens will be perceived as chaos, possibly even as "acts of war" by
some who are illprepared. In a few cases, they might even be right, even if
for the wrong reasons--i.e., the emergent techs being promoted by oppressors.

A 7th-century Golden Age, as some other worthies have already pointed out,
leads to interesting conclusions regarding "modern" culture.

Do you remember those test questions "X is to Y as P is to ..."?

If X is {the taliban} and Y is {Western Civilization 2001}, then if
   P is {Western Civilization 2001}...
