*Very* short term, I fear. The humanitarian airdrop planes'd be shot down
quicksmart by Taliban missiles. Maybe if there were plenty of drones to
dispatch that'd work (but then the falling, burning drones would crush
27,534 Afghani babies, raising a cry for vengeance).

I believe I heard on the news that a US drone had been downed already.
