Yes, I read Axelrod's book too, and there are plenty of strategy that can beat
Tit for Tat, they just can't beat the sum of benefits to both sides in a non zero
sum game. But more important the entire matter is irrelevant if your behavior
has no effect on your opponent's behavior. Put it another way, there is no
evidence that if you're kind to terrorists terrorists will be kind to you.
