Thank you both for posting this and linking it with "The Diamond
age". I think this book is on par with anything either Wells or
Verne ever did.
A few years back their was a computer series on that featured a
segment where an engineers 18 month old was drawing balls on a
Macintosh and I remeber feeling the same sense of wonder at what
this technology can do.
The Modern version of Sir Arthur C Clarke's Black Monolith.
Come to think of it maybe I'll send him that....
