As the guilty party who started this thread...it's mainly speculation
on a topic raised at the Extro 5 a few months back.

Agreed. All the more reason to make our territory claim limited, so as
to more easily avoid accidentally drifting our territory over someone
else. (Unless we are almost stationary with respect to Earth. Almost
stationary is good enough: continental drift happens, yet I've not
heard any complaints about its effect on international borders.)
