ARRGGGHHHH! Am I the ONLY person here who remembers that line as the one
of the funniest from "Star Trek: The Voyage Home"????
Setting: Kirk and Spock, in 1980s southern California, are hitching a
ride with a marine biologist in a pickup truck. Spock, newly reunited
with his body following "The Search for Spock", is wearing what looks
like a bathrobe and a headband to hide his pointy ears, and says cryptic
and odd things that makes the biologist question his sanity. Kirk, in a
faux pas reflecting a lack of attention to his history courses at
Starfleet Academy, says in explaination that Spock had "Too much LDS in
the 60's"...
