The universal statute of limitations takes effect at the death
of the perpetrator.

Every slaver has now perished. How shall we collect?
Every slave has now perished. How shall we pay?

I am not claiming that slavery is not an aggregious sin.
It certainly was. But the wrong was not righted in time,
and now cannot be righted retroactively. Even trying to
figure out who are the descendants of the slaves and
slavers is impossible. In spite of my blonde hair, I have
a government document {the 1870 US census} that
claims that one of my ancestors was black. I suspect
I would get some funny looks should I get in line for
my reparations. spike
