What? Please explain.

I suppose that this certainly applies to the european countries, where
the governments are all for EU unification but the majority of the
people claim to not be, yet continue to vote into office the scoundrels
who are voting for unification. Sounds to me like they asked for it,
though. 'Stupid is as stupid does.'
