What about that colonization simulation derived from the evolution of
bubbles in fluid which showed that any colonization or other attempt to
influence areas of spacetime will always leave gaps? That seemed to leave
room for a neat local solution to the FP without invoking strangeness.
And of course, I can't find the damn thing online now. Grrr.
