I've been reading a little about this successful "test". They used no chaff,
no electronic countermeasures, and one decoy. One! It wasn't even cone
shaped like the warhead, it was round. Why? Only one reason why, it's
easier to tell them apart that way. An enemy is unlikely to be as
considerate. And that's only what we know now, many past tests were
rigged (heaters on the warhead to strengthen the IR signature etc) to
make them look better than they actually were but that didn't come out until
years later.
