How many birds in LEO (especially a flurry of nanosats) do you need to
have always a few of them in your view?

A cellphone is largely a sofware radio. If you own one, why can't you
route, especially assuming fuel cells and ultrabroadband? The cities are
just lousy with hardware, and not many iguanas have been known to have
connectivity needs.

There's technology in the pipeline which will make it cheaper, much
cheaper, especially if you introduce all of it simultaneously.
