So perhaps Postgresql for RDBMS and mifluz for full text
indexing would be the best OS alternatives. Although if there
is no multi-user capability MySQL might be enough for the
relational end.
Of course with 1K messages a day probably on the order of 20 are
actually worth archiving and indexing. :-)
