I'm still on the road after Extro5 and will post soon to express my deep
appreciation for everyone who made the conference the great success it was
and my stay the great personal experience it was.
In the meantime, I've been personally contacted by some folks from the
now-defunct Starlab seeking leads for continuing the interesting work that
has been going on there. This includes some extremely interesting AI work
that I personally find very promising. If anyone would like to follow up on
the this contact, please contact me off-list with the word "Starlab" in the
subject line (my backed-up in-box is requiring merciless filtering via the
delete key for the next few days and weeks).
