Whenever there is talk of the government deregulating some sector of the economy the loudest howls of protest almost always come from the companies in that very sector. Companies like regulation, it keeps competitors out. Recently when the FDA talked about making some harmless prescription drugs over the counter the big drug companies screamed like babies. Regulation is not your friend.
