Old one: in which direction do you pull the fingers apart? If they are
pushing -><- and you pull v^, you get little resistance. If they are
pushing -><- and you pull <-->, you get a lot of resistance. The first
one is done before the process, and the second one after. No matter
how many times you repeat the second, you get the same result - and it
never occurs to try the first because the audience was not paying as
much attention before the "unnatural" effect was applied.
