Yep, that's the way I see it too. Fuel cells and micro-turbines don't have
much chance of going into production if people can buy kilowatts for pennies
from big brother and the nuclear utility company.
Of course small-scale nuclear power could allow users to go independent, but
there are many layers of law (and public paranoia) to prevent that happening.
