I really can't see how you'd get a 0.5 probability, Zero. Wouldn't you need
to take account of all the other competing doctrines and sub-doctrines, at
least extant and possibly in the past (although I suppose any one true god
would not have allowed the one true faith to die out)? Mightn't you then
need to do some transform on that number, perhaps scaling it directly or
inversely (since the devil's option is always the most attractive) by the
number of adherents of each doctrine? Can't see how you'd get anything
remotely as high as 50:50.
