Existing MRI machines are good enough for an upload, but you'd have
to be very patient. If a machine has a constant signal to noise ratio then
the scan time increases to the 6th power of the resolution. If it took you
1 second to get 1 mm resolution it would take 10^28 years for 1 nanometer.
The strength of a magnetic resonance signal depends of how sharply it varies
in space, so resolutions of a few nanometers can and has been achieved in a
reasonable time by bringing the sample close, very, very, close to the magnet,
unfortunately to do this the sample must be microscopic.
