Not yet, but Jeff Thompson is doing his graduate work at Berkeley on this

I am sure there are plenty of other folks at MEMS labs around the world who
are thinking about it. You may remember the paper I gave you about my own
work on microscopic robots.
If you go find the funding, I would be glad to develop the 'factories' for
you. It would not be easy, but no way as difficult as MNT, because you can
assemble the first one yourself. (However, the first generation will probably
be rather ugly.)
