cooperative friendliness and compassion as individual behaviors can be
shown to be beneficial to individual self interest, so therefore, are
not socialistic, merely a side effect of the individuals survival
reflex. Force imposed friendliness makes fake friends. Virtuous behavior
is only virtuous if the individual is free to choose.
