that you also give StarOffice a whirl, you might like it. Furthermore, I
think that what Mike was trying to say is that an excel spreadsheet can
itself be an open-source 'application' without the underlying runtime
software being open source.

Of course, I lost track of what this thread is about, but I never let
that stop me from butting in before. This isn't some distant mutation
of my Dyson Clouds post, is it?
