Curiously reflects physicist Julian Barbour in The End of Tome where he
states: "I see many alphas but no omega.." Which may be cogent, but it also
may be that Barbour is not looking in the right places. As far as Islam goes,
it shan't be the type that is displayed today by most of the mullahs,
mufti's, and imam's, simply because it's too great a challenge to Islamic
Civilization. Having said this, it may be that an extropian varient may
evolve outside the Arab center of Islam, much in the same way that Islamic
Modernity is trans-Arabic, in such places as Turkey, Malaysia, and Indonesia,
as well as Nigeria.
