I understand that in the book reporting Hitler's dinner table conversations
that Hitler continually referred to himself as a socialist. That was the
name of his party the National Socialist Party. On the other hand facisism
is simply the name Musselini assumed when the Communist Party of Itally of
which he was a member differed with him on political tactics not philospophy.
 Musselini relabeled himself a facist and continued with his communist
philosophy. In other words both Hitler and Musselini were small s socialists.
