If you have a Mac, then I suggest getting BBEdit. That program has
macros to insert these HTML tags.

I hand-code (using Emacs, BBEdit editors) all of my Web pages , and I
agree that it's a nuisance to type the HTML tags, so I use macros
(different ones), whereever I can.
