One other researcher had supposedly duplicated the original
scientist's results, but given the lack of understanding biologists
have of stem cells anyway, I'm sure that they have to do a lot of
testing to confirm that not only the results can be duplicated
reliably, but that these new stem cells are the real thing(tm).
